Toronto’s tenant, renter and residents’ associations are inviting the public to the Toronto Mayoral Debate 2026, presented by the Federation of South Toronto Residents’ Association, the Ontario Renters Coalition, and the Federation of North Toronto Residents’ Association.
Mayoral candidates Chris Alexander, Brad Bradford and Olivia Chow will discuss four major issues shaping Toronto’s future: Housing, Affordability, Engagement and Thrivability.
The debate will be moderated by Nicole Swerhun of Third-Party Public.

Traffic Changes in the Neighbourhood
The Upper Avenue Community Association (UACA) has advised that two motions concerning traffic in our neighbourhood were presented by Deputy Mayor Colle and adopted at the July City Council as follows:
1. Resulting from the petition UACA assembled following safety complaints from residents, a motion was adopted to restrict parking to the east side of Grey Road only and no parking on the west side. The no parking on the west side was implemented starting September 1st and should lead to increased pedestrian safety as there is no sidewalk on Grey Rd. 2. City Council also passed a motion to implement a four-way stop at Brooke Ave and Clyde Ave. which will have a positive impact on everybody’s safety.
